Jim is a pilot with over 7500 hrs. total time. Most of his flying has been in floatplanes across the US. He started flying in upstate NY in the Adirondack Mtns. It was there that he owned his first plane which was a Citabria 7GCBC on floats gaining over 850 hours in it. From there he moved up to the Cessna 180 and 206 flying for Helms Aero Service in Long Lake, NY, as a bush pilot. He flew just over five years full time for them, working the small lakes and ponds which abound in the mountains there. Today Jim flies for NW Seaplanes and San Juan Airlines in the Great Northwest. He is a charter pilot for both operations and also flies regularly in the Pacific Northwest. Jim and Wendy also fly in their beautifully restored 1956 Cessna 170B. Don't forget to go to see more of their plane and services they offer at Aerial Missions.
